Tuesday's 7th-grade football game at Sylvan Hills will be at 6:00, instead of 5:15. There will be two 20-minute halves, followed by a 20-minute "fifth quarter" in which both teams' offense will have the ball 10 minutes.
Additionally, Tuesday's JV football game at home against Pine Bluff will begin at 6:00 instead of 6:30.

We apologize for the long post, but we encourage Sheridan football fans to read all of it. It has details you won't want to miss about Friday's Sheridan-White Hall game.
Sheridan hosts White Hall on Friday at 7 p.m. at Yellowjacket Stadium, and a HUGE crowd is expected. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. To help reduce the length of time to purchase a ticket on game-day, students will have an opportunity to purchase tickets in advance on Thursday during lunch, and the general public is encouraged to buy tickets (cash or credit) Thursday evening at the community pep rally. (One ticket booth will be open during the pep rally at Yellowjacket Stadium. The pep rally begins at 7 p.m.)
To relieve crowding in the concession areas, extra concession stops will be set up with drinks and snacks. Please see the accompanying graphic for details about these locations and what they will serve. These added concession areas will be cash only, while the full concession stands will continue to accept credit cards in addition to cash.
To assist both our home crowd and visitors with parking, the accompanying highlighted map indicates areas around the stadium with available locations to park. And, as always, the Sheridan JROTC will be assisting in helping direct traffic to available parking spots.
We hope to see thousands of our closest friends at the game, but for those who cannot attend, the game will be live-streamed. Registration for the Future Lady Jacket Volleyball League is underway. Player evaluations will be August 31. Practice will begin the first week of September with one practice per week. Games will be played on Saturdays through October 12. Grades 3/4 will be combined, and grades 5/6 will be combined. Registration is $50 for the league fee and a team shirt.
